Benjamin H. Stambaugh,

Benjamin H. Stambaugh, age 92, of Stambaugh, died
July 6, 1984 at the Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center
Paintsville,Ky.

Born Dec 28, 1892 in Johnson Co., he was the son of the
late William and Alapharie Caudill Stambaugh. He was a
retired miner, teacher and member of the Church of Christ.
Preceded in death by his wife, Effie Mae Green Stambaugh, he is
survived by a son William of West Van lear, five daughters, Vivian
Grim and Verlie Cantrell both of Paintsville, Joyce Ferguson of
Cleveland, Ohio, Mary Music, Columbus Ohio, Phyllis Stapleton,
Springfield Ohio and a sister Sara Fitch of Stambaugh, 20
grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren and a great
greatgrandchild.

Masonic services were conducted July 7 by the Chandlersville
Masonic Lodge. Burial in family Cemetery.
