Don Reed
1906-2001
Former Johnson County resident Don Reed, 94, of
Stoutsville, Ohio, died Tuesday, January 16, at Berger
Hospital, Circleville, Ohio.

Mr. Reed was born October 20, 1906, in Johnson County,
to the late Alonzo and Vertressa Williams Reed. He was
a farmer and carpenter and member of St. John’s Church.

He was also preceded in death by a son, Harold E. Reed;
and a daughter, Donna Ruth Swackhammer.
Surviving are his wife, Blanche LeMaster Reed; one
son, Paul M. Reed of Circleville; two daughters, Wanda
I. Reed and Brenda Hoover, both of Circleville; two brothers,
James D. McKenzie of Volga and John H. McKenzie of Ashland;
one sister, Ruie Ann Williams of Red Bush; and six grandchildren
and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held today, Friday, at 1 p.m. at
Defenbaugh Wise Funeral Home of Circleville, with Pastor
Ted Davis officiating.
Burial will follow in Forest Cemetery, Circleville.
