William Daniels
1920-2001 Phelps & Son Funeral Home of Hager Hill was
in charge of arrangements for William Daniels, 80,
who died Saturday, February 24, at Highlands
Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Daniels was born April 26, 1920, to the late Erchel
and Grace Clark Daniel. He was a coal miner.
Surviving are two sons, Raymond and Danny Daniels,
both of West Van Lear; three stepsons, Fred and Vencil
Ratliff, both of West Van Lear, and James Daniel of
Staffordsville; two stepdaughters, Patricia Perkins of
Paintsville and Joyce Hughes of Tampa, Florida; three
sisters, Mae Preston and Francis Daniels, both of Tutor Key,
and Helen Cordell of Columbus, Ohio; and 13 grandchildren
and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, February 26, at Staffordsville
Freewill Baptist Church, with Mike Blanton and Doug Crider
officiating.

Burial followed in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
