Ruie Reed
1908-2001

Funeral services will be held today, Friday, for
Ruie Reed, 92, who died February 27 at Paul B. Hall
Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Reed was born March 21, 1908, at Barnetts Creek,
to the late George and Sudie Trimble Ealey. She worked
in a bakery.

Surviving are her husband, Robert "Bob" Reed of Oil
Springs; one son, Bobby Reed of Cumming, Georgia; three
daughters, Billie Jean Fairchild of Oil Springs, Wilma
Deane Wheeler of Baltimore, Maryland, and Janice Carol Johns
of Capon Bridge, West Virginia; one brother, Chat Ealey of
St. Port Lucie, Florida; and 11 grandchildren, 23 great-
grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Officiating at 11 a.m. services at Paintsville
Funeral Home Chapel will be Elders Sammy Reed and
Frankie Williams. Burial will follow in Reed Cemetery
at Oil Springs.
