HANSEL STAPLETON

Hansel Stapleton, 85, of Elkhorn City,Ky.,
died Thursday, Sept. 17, 1998, in Pikeville
Methodist Hospital.

Born Apr. 1, 1913, in Pike County, Ky.,
he was the son of the late Ira
and Georgia Cantrell Stapleton.

He was also preceded in death by wife, Nora Maynor
Stapleton. He was a coal miner.

Survivors: sons, Jack Stapleton, Plymouth,Ind., and
Jim Stapleton of Elkhorn City; daughters, Reable
Robins, Elkhorn City, and Helen Porter, Crestline,
Ohio.; brothers, James Stapleton, Baltimore,Md., and
Charles Kenneth Stapleton, Syracuse,NY.; sister
Essie Musick, Clintwood,Va.; and 15 grandchildren,
and 17 great granchildren.
