                                                                                                                                                               George W. Stapleton, 87, of 101 harmon St.,
died at 5:10 p.m. Thursday at his home.
Mr. Stapleton was a retired employee of
Chesapeake & Ohio Railway Co.
He was born Feb. 14, 1872, in Scott Co.,VA.,
a son of Abraham and Martha Ramey Stapleton.
Surviving are his wife, Mabel, an employee
of Williams Mfg. Co.; sister Mary Francis Beard
of Warrensburg,Mo.: a brother Frank Stapleton
of Troy,Mo.
Funeral services are to be conducted at 2 p.m.
Saturday at Slatery Funeral Home in Russell,Ky.
Rev. Otto Smith will offiate. Interment will be in
Everman Cemetery at Gregoryville between Grayson
and Olive Hill,Ky.
