Lora Ruth Daniel

1938-2003

Funeral services were held Friday, June 20, 10:30 a.m.
at the Kindred Funeral Home for Lora Ruth Daniel, 65, who
passed away June 17.

Mrs. Daniel was born May 29, 1938, in Paintsville, KY, daughter
of the late Paris and Ruby Tackett. She was a long-time assembly
worker of Phillips Industry. She was also a commissioned Kentucky
Colonel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Daniel;
daughter, Dorothy Jean Daniel; sisters, Ellen and Cathleen Tackett;
great-granddaughters, Lora Jean and Brooklyn Michelle.

Surviving are two daughters, Ruth (Tom) Ritchie, and Patricia (John)
Nichols, both of Paintsville, KY; three sons, James “Mitch” (Paula)
Daniel, Harmon “Mike” (Shannon) Daniel, and Charles “Charlie” (Sheryl)
Daniel, all of Paintsville, KY; one sister, Marie Stapleton, of Paintsville,
KY; four brothers, Milton (Wilma Jane), George and Ronald Tackett, all of
Paintsville, KY and Donald Tackett of Huntington, WV; 14 grandchildren, 16
great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The service was officiated by Pastor Larry Nichols, with burial following
in the Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, OH.
