Arnold Stapleton

1912-2003

Arnold Stapleton, 90, of Counts Hollow, Olive Hill,
Ky., passed away Friday morning, Feb. 14, 2003, in Saint
Claire Medical Center, Morehead,Ky.

Mr. Stapleton was born Aug. 20, 1912, a son of the late
John and Melissa Roar Stapleton.

He was a retired farmer and attended Henderson Branch
Christian Holiness Church.

In addition to his parents, Arnold was preceded in death by
seven brothers and two sisters.

Mr. Stapleton is survived by his wife of 64 years, Alline
Wilson Stapleton; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Clayton
Stapleton of Dayton,Ohio, and Raymond and Louise Stapleton
of Olive Hill, Ky.; one daughter, Betty Jean Campbell of
Flatwoods, Ky.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren;
two brothers, Eugene Stapleton of Upper Sandusky,Ohio, and
Jim Stapleton of Ironton, Ohio; and one sister, Clara Taylor
of Webbville, Ky.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today, Feb. 16, 2003,
at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Ky., officiated by Terry
Dean and Lewis Davis. Burial will follow in the Roar Cemetery
in Olive Hill, Ky.
