Betty Castle

1937-2002

Funeral services were held Monday, December 23, 2002
at 10:00 a.m. at Flatwoods Church of Christ, Flatwoods,
Ky. for Betty Castle, 65, who passed away Friday, December
20, 2002 at Kings Daughters Medical Center.

Mrs. Castle was born July 8, 1937 in Paintsville, Ky., daughter
of the late Alex and Mary Vanhoose Music. She was preceded in
death by two brothers, Lee Curtis Music and Ray Music.

Surviving are her husband Lyman J. “Joe” Castle; two sons,
Doug (Donna) Jennings, Paintsville and Tommy (Christy) Short,
Ashland; three stepsons, Sammy (Cindy) Castle, Worthington, KY,
Jimmy (Debbie) Castle, Raceland, KY and Bobby (Tammy) Castle,
Flatwoods, KY; one stepdaughter, Lois Miller, Westwood, KY; two
brothers, James E. Music and Robert Music, Wabash, IN;
one grandson, Kyle Jennings; 13 step-grandchildren.

The service was officiated by John M. Brown , with burial in
Bellefonte Memorial Gardens, Flatwoods, KY.
