Herbert H. Ealey Sr.

1933–2002 Funeral services were held Sunday, August 4, 1 p.m.
at Jones-Preston Funeral Home for Herbert H. Ealey Sr.,
69, who passed away Friday, August 2 at Highland Regional
Medical Center.

Mr. Ealey was born February 20, 1933 in Johnson County, son
of the late Marshall and Gladys McFaddin Ealey.

Surviving are his wife, Jean Gambill Ealey; one son, Herbert
H. Ealey, Jr. of Cynthiana; three daughters, Lorna Coots of
Lakeland, Fla., Marchelle Underwood of Paintsville, and Cheryl
Fannin of Staffordsville; one brother, Tommy Ealey of Lexington;
three sisters, Imogene Doolin of Cynthiana, Patsy Lewis of Whitehouse,
and Sue Kelly of Flat Gap; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

The service was officiated by Ronnie Spriggs and Larry Blair, with
burial following in the Ealey Family Cemetery, Barnetts Creek.
