Mr. Stapleton was born April 23,

in Johnson Co.,Ky, the son
of Johnny
Stapleton and Sarah Jane
McKenzie.
He was a retired employee
of Ashland
Oil Company. Surviving
are his wife

Stapleton; three sons,
Rex Stapleton,
Dayton,Ohio, Virgil
Stapleton,St. Paris,
Ohio,and Johnny
Stapleton,Phoneton,
Ohio: four daughters,
Belvenell Hill,
Dayton,Effie Caudill,Thelma,
Peggy
Holbrook,Red Bush, and Betty LeMaster
Hickory,Tenn; 16 grandchildren and 4 great-
grandchildren. Funeral services were held
April 22nd in Paintsville Funeral Home
Chapel with Elders J. T. Bailey and
Scottie Williams officiating. Burial was
at Patty Flats Cemetery.
