         of many, many years of research on the part of Alvin Stapleton,
         and the past six years of my own research. I wish to personally

         Editors note:

         It is generally regarded by Stapleton researchers, that this Thomas Stapleton,
         was the Progenitor of the Stapletons that settled in the Virginia territory
         part of which would become Eastern Kentucky.
