Nam es in Stone: For Jefferson Union Cemetery: Cassandra Johnson 1808-1809. Richard Johnson 1803-1855. Thomas Johnson 1801-1885. William Johnson 1771-1811. William Cost Johnson 1810-1859 ( 1860 age 54 = 1804). Will iam Cost Johnson 1835-1839. Jacob Engelbrecht: Henry Cost , Decr 5, 1864, age 72, Jefferson, Buried Mt Olivet. Married 9 Dec 1799 ("Maryland Marriages 1778-1800"Compiled by Robert Barnes, Geneological Publishing Co., Inc. 1979. Page 120 Johnson, William 9 Dec 1799, Catherine Cost 4FR. 4FR-Frederick County Marriage Licenses, 1778-1800, copied at the Court House, and published in the DAR Magazine, Vol 85.) and bore Richard 1803 and William (Hon) Cost Johnson and probably Thomas 1801 + Cassandra 1808. Her husband died in 1811. She apparently married Pres ley Warfield in 1815. She probably was a sister of Henry b. 1892, John, a nd Christian Cost. Christian , John and Henry Cost; and Johnsons: Catherine, John, Joseph W., Richard, and William Johnson; and Presley Warfield are all listed as Members of St. Marks Episcopal Church at Petersville in 1806-1814. Jane Elizabeth Campbell and William Cost Johnson, bp 30 Sep 1835, ch. Col. Johnson. (Western Maryland Genealog y, Vol. 9. No. 4, Oct 1993). Letters of Administration on the estate of Presley Warfield were issued on May 8,1819, in Frederick County to J ohn Cost. Also note that her daughter Catherine Warfield named her first born Richard Johnson Keefer and buried him at Jefferson Union Cem.
