Mr. Wiley C. Rector, of Hendersonville, formerly of Madison County died at his home in Hendersonville, Saturday, June 19, 1926, at 5:15 o’clock, the cause of his death being given as paralysis. He was 56 years old and had been sick about four months. He was buried with Masonic honors Sunday, June 20 at 5:00 o’clock, interment following in Oakland Cemetery at Hendersonville. He is survived by the following sisters: Mrs. Alice Rector, Marshall; Mrs. Mattie Miller, Marshall; Miss Zura Rector, Hendersonville; Mrs. Jessie Lotspeech, Philadelphia, PA; and Mrs. Florence Jarrett of Asheville. Attending the funeral from Marshall were Mr. Elihu Rector, Mrs. Mattie Miller, Mr. and Mrs. George Jarrett.

Mr. Rector was a prominent lawyer of Hendersonville.
