Mrs. Clifford Rector, age 49, of Marshall, died at her home Tuesday night at eleven o’clock. She had been ill for about two months. She is survived by her husband and four children as follows: Mrs. Sherman Chandler, Homard, Misses Helen and Nell Rector, all of Marshall. She also leaves five brothers and two sisters, John Sherlin, Mrs. M.H. Caldwell and Mrs. Eugene Connor, of Marshall: Fred, Ossie, Alfred and Liston, of Asheville.

She was the daughter of Mrs. Henry Sherlin, who is now living, her father being dead. Funeral services were Wednesday afternoon at three o’clock, conducted by Rev. J. A. Martin, interment following at the Frank Rector graveyard.
