Asheville - Selma Black Rector went to be with the Lord after a brief illness.
Ms. Rector was formerly employed by Kearfott and retired from Tandy after many years of service.
Surviving family members include her son, Jerry Fuller of Black Mountain; two daughters, Cathy Fuller of Arden and Tina Hart and her husband, Harvey, of Swannanoa; grandchildren, Shane Fuller, Craig Young and Sara Jameson, all of Asheville, Brandon and Jessica Hart of Swannanoa and Mindy Avery of Kenly; great-grandchildren, Riley and Liam Fuller of Kenly and Celeste Young of Asheville; sisters, Ivrene Trull of Canton, Verlie Allen and her husband, James, of Asheville; brother, Bill Black and his wife, JoAnne, of Bethel; and many nieces and nephews.
Ms. Rector's memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Swannanoa.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity in celebration of Ms. Rector's life.
