Mrs. Paul V. Rector, age 55, of Marshall, died suddenly of apoplexy Wednesday evening about 7:00 o’clock at her home in Marshall. Mrs. Rector had been in rather poor health for a number of years, but her going had not been so suddenly. She is survived by her husband, Mr. P.V. Rector, one of Marshall’s prominent dry-goods merchants, and two daughters, Mrs. J.J. Ramsey and Miss Martha Jane Rector, and the following brothers and sisters: Theodore Rector, Asheville; Amber Rector , Scales Mound, Ill.; Marvin Rector, Savannah, Ga.; Mrs. D. P. Franks, McCullers, N.C.; Mrs. Lena Felmet, Washington, D.C.; Mrs. W. C. Cassada, Fort McLellan, Ala.

Funeral services will be from the home Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock, conducted by Dr. W. E. Finley and Dr. J. T. M. Knox. Interment following at the Pritchard cemetery. The following will serve as active pallbearers. (The rest of this obit was omitted.)
