SURRY, Va. - Lucille Rector Davis, 64, of Burnt Mill Road, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2002, at her residence. She was a native of Knoxville, Tenn., and retired from Southland Corp. as a clerk. Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, Ronnie Lee Davis; mother, Agnes Rector of Marshall, N.C.; daughter, Carolyn Bretz of Newport News; stepdaughters, Joyce Annette Davis- Hammock of Bedford and Janice Russ of Knoxville, Tenn.; son, Mark Allen Norris of Hampton; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, June 3, at Rector's Chapel Cemetery in Marshall, N.C. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Surry Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 188, Surry, VA 23883. Madison Funeral Home, Marshall, is assisting the family with local arrangements.
