HONOLULU - Charles Mitchell Rector Jr., 39, a retail sales representative for Nestle USA, military sales division, died on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2001, following a long struggle with cancer. He was born in Spartanburg, S.C., on Sunday, Jan. 21, 1962. He is survived by his wife, Sunny Choi-Rector; mother, Barbara Ann Johnson; father, Charles M. Rector Sr.; stepmother, Patricia B. Rector; two stepbrothers, Steve and Bill Brickhouse; stepsister, Deborah Ann Donahue; two aunts, June Zent and Lynn Powell; and numerous cousins. The funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at the chapel of Madison Funeral Home, 1750 N.C. 213, Marshall. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services. Chaplain Joseph Lusk and the Rev. Charles Rector will officiate. Committal will follow at Rector's Chapel Cemetery, Rector's Corner, Marshall. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Cliffwood Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 5304, Augusta, GA 30906. Funds will be for Rector's Chapel Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund.
