Roster of Soldiers
This information here comes from Official Roster of the Soldiers of the State of Ohio in the War of the Rebellion, 1861-1866,
published in 1887.
This is a work in progress. All the names of soldiers are currently on line, along
with their rank, date of entering service and term of service. I am completing
the remarks sections currently. Those units completed are marked with a
.
The index is complete. Note: Some of the names of soldiers may be spelled incorrectly,
or differently than it is usually spelled in other records, on the roster. Because this
is a transcription I have kept them as spelled in the original report. If you are unable to open the files it is probably because you
haven't installed the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. You can obtain that here.
