America (housewife) age 23 born AL
John L. son age 3 born AL
Nora E. dau age 1 born AL
They also had a son the following year:
Robert Oliver Cannon b. in 1881 in AL

According to this census, both of Wilson's parents were born in GA. Amercia's father was born in TN and her mother in GA

Found in Tallapoosa County marriage Book 8 on page 234:
Wilson L. Cannon wed America A. Wood on 1-25-1876, S. W. Dobbs,
Elder. In my experience Elder is a very unusual term for marriages from this area in this era. Perhaps this is a type of religion?
