Loderwick Johnson appears in the 1850 census of Tallapoosa Co., Twp 21, on
October 24, 1850, on page 33 at HH 445 as L. Johnson. This household is much
the same as the one posted. It appears Loderwick and family were counted
twice. However, next door at HH 446 is Stephen Johnson and Nancy Johnson.
The Nancy E. Johnson in Loderwick Johnson's household is actually Nancy E.
Skinner Johnson, Stephen's wife. I'm not sure who 3 year old Sarah is but I
don't believe she was born to Loderwick and Winney. Loderwick is in
Tallapoosa Co., AL by the 1840 census. As a note for those searching for
Loderwick, I have also found his name listed as Lodwed, Lodwick, and
Lauderdale.

On the first census of 24 October 1850, the last three children were listed
as born in Alabama. All the others were born in Georgia. On the census of 1
November 1850 everyone in the family was listed as being born in Georgia.
