Robert H. Deville Robert H. Deville and Miss Lillian M. Harris (both colored) were married Tuesday at 10 a.m. [December 21] in the home of E. E. Vanderpool at 5 Church Place. Rev. D. E. Trout, pastor of the First Universalist church performed the ceremony. A double ring service was used. The bride, who was unattended, wore a traveling suit of navy blue with a blue hat. Mr. and Mrs. Deville left that afternoon for Troy, N.Y., where they will make their home. Mr. Deville is employed in a foundry in Troy. Mrs. Deville has made her home the past 10 years in Brattleboro, where she has worked as a housekeeper in the home of Mr. Vanderpool. |

Horace McCullars Horace McCullars and Mrs. Mary (Pribett Thomas, both of 9 North Street, were married about 5 o'clock Thursday, November 17 by Justice C. S. Hopkins. Both are colored. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ashby. |
