Luise Christiane Luz was born on 30 October 1900 at Haiterbach, Oberamt Calw, Schwarzwaldkreis, Württemberg, German Empire.1 She was the daughter of Johann Gottlieb Luz and Friederike Magdalene Maier.1 Luise Christiane Luz married, at age 26, Philipp Michael Ludwig Knorr, age 27, son of Johann Friedrich Knorr and Christiane Furch, on Monday, 25 July 1927 at Haiterbach, Oberamt Calw, Schwarzwaldkreis, Württemberg, Weimar Republic (Germany).1 Luise Christiane Luz died on 8 January 1977 at Nagold, District of Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg, West Germany, at age 76 years, 2 months and 9 days.1
She was widowed at age 60 by the death of Philipp on 7 October 1961.1
