William2 Dalzell(1780-1845) and his wife Margaret Blackburn ( - )Miami Co., OH
William Dalzell2 (1780-1845) married Margaret Blackwood and sailed immediately for America. They settled in Sherman Valley, where their eight eldest children were born. In 1818 they moved to Piqua, Miami County, Ohio. where their two youngest children were born. Their children are given below:
James was born 1802, settled in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and married Margaret Barbour.
John was born 1803 and died in Mt. Pleasant, Henry County, Iowa, He married Letitia Sturgeon.
Mary was born 1806, married James Barlow Rumsey, settled in Miami County, Ohio, and died in Woodland, Yolo County, California.
Nancy was born 1808, married Robert Elliott, and settled in Auglaize County, Ohio.
Margaret Ann was born in 1810, married Alexander P. Clark and settled in Mercer Co., Ohio.
Jane was born 1812, and never married. She lived in Auglaize County, Ohio.
Sarah was born in 1815, married Milo Rumsey in Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana and died in San Diego, County, California.
Hettie was born in 1817, married Lowry Barbour, and died in Troy, Miami County, Ohio.
William was born after 1818 and died in Piqua, Miami County, Ohio.
Joseph was born 1n 1823, married Eliza Conner, and died in Monmouth . Warren County, Ohio. Susan Reedy has provide me with much more information about Joseph’s descendants
