John POTT

Thomas Potts and his family came on the ship Shield to Burlington Co NJ. His baptism is recorded in the Lower Duplin township Baptist church records "Thomas Potts baptzed by Elias Roach at Burlington in West New Jersey 1686".  He moved to Philadelphia where he died in 1726 and is buried in the Friends graveyard at 3rd and Arch.
