Most of the families shown here have early roots in states along the Atlantic coast. Migrations inland took them to Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Louisiana, Missouri, Arkansas, Indian Territory (Oklahoma) and Texas before 1900. Some of these families were in Texas before the fall of the Alamo. |
