         6. Carrie Adelia Wiser  (Alonzo, Samuel Henry) was born on 24 Apr 1868 in Wilmington, Will, IL. She died on 2 Nov 1899 in Chicago, Cook, IL. She was buried on 5 Nov 1899 in Chicago, Cook, IL.

 

 

DEATH RECORD: Cook County, IL; Carrie Adelia Yager, f, w, b. Wilmington, IL, age 30 y 6 m, lived in

IL, 31 years, died 2 Nov 1899 about 5:15 p.m., housewife, at 157 S. Hoyne Ave., buried Forest Home, 5

Nov 1899.

 

Carrie married William W. Yager on 26 Nov 1885 in Cook, IL. William was born in 1864 in WI.

E. W. Yager had something to do with Alice Boyle's (sister of Carrie) burial; he somehow must be related to the family His address, 4922 Jensen, Chicago.

         7. Alice May Wiser  (Alonzo, Samuel Henry) was born on 28 Jun 1870 in Joliet, Will, IL. She died on 21 Feb 1963 in Chicago, Cook, IL. She was buried on 26 Feb 1963 in Hillside, Cook, IL.

 

On May 15, 1947, Mrs. Alice M. Boyle of 5232 Ferdinand St., Chicago, IL sent a letter to the Veterans Administration asking if she would qualify as the daughter of a Civil War veteran to live at Soldiers & Widows' Old Peoples Home.

Alice married (1) George E. Hickey  on 6 Jul 1888 in Du Page, IL. George was born in 1870 in Chicago, Cook, IL. He died on 18 Mar 1899 in Chicago, Cook, IL. He was buried on 18 Mar 1899 in Chicago, Cook, IL.

         9. Gertrude Maud Wiser  (William H., Samuel Henry) was born in Feb 1884 in Joliet, Will, IL. She died 20 Jul 1926 at Cle Elum, Kittitas, WA.

Gertrude married Russell B. Webb on 20 Jun 1904 in Ellensburg, Kittitas, WA. Russell was born in 1880 in MI. He died after 1930 in Seattle, King, WA.

 

OCCUPATION: Railway Clerk, coal agent.

 

PARENTAGE: Russell B.,  son of Samuel H. and Mary (Painter) Webb.  Parents, 1880 Census of

Franklin, Houghton, MI, miner, born England.

Russell and Gertrude had the following children:

+             20  M           ii.   Roger B. Webb was born on 25 May 1907. He died on 11 Nov 1988.

 

+             21  M          iii.   Delore M. Webb was born on 13 Apr 1909. He died on 23 Nov 1965.

 

+             22  F           iv.   Thirza P. Webb was born on 26 Mar 1917. She died on 3 Oct 1977.

OBITUARIES

 

We express our deepest sympathy to those who lost family members recently.

 

Kansas City Star, Kansas City, MO, 14 Jan 2003; Agnes Eleanor Gregory, 71, of Olathe, passed away Monday, January 13, 2003, at her home.  She was born March 17, 1931, in Kansas City, KS.  Family graveside services will be Wednesday, January 15, at Olathe Memorial Cemetery.  Memorial services will be Thursday, January 16, at Church of the Harvest, 14841 Blackbob Rd., Olathe.  Please call W.L. Frye & Son Funeral Home, 913-782-0582, for service times.  Mrs. Gregory was preceded in death by her husband, Burl Gregory  (Burwell J. Gregory, James Gregory, Matilda Ann Wiser Gregory, Samuel Wiser, Benjamin Wiser) on January 18, 1981. She is survived by six children, 15 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.  Agnes loved the Lord, and went to Heaven.
