RESEARCH FINDINGS

I recently purchased 43 films of the DeRuyter Gleaner, a weekly newspaper.  The films include the years 1875-1962.  They finally arrived this last month.  I will be extracting the vital records from this newspaper as they contain valuable information about many of the descendants of Benjamin and Kezia Wiser who remained in the Cuyler, Truxton and Fabius towns.  After completing this project, I will donate the films to the New York State Library as only one other copy exists of these films which is located in the DeRuyter Public Library.

For the December newsletter, I decided to resent you a copy of the first six generations of our Wisers in America.  There is still much to

prove here, but you will find it interesting.
