Elisha Estes Sr. was born circa 1712 at St Stevens County, Virginia.3 He was the son of Abraham Estes Jr. and Barbara Brock.1,2 Elisha Estes Sr. married Mary Ann Mumford circa 1732 at Henry County, Virginia.3 Elisha Estes Sr. died on 30 January 1782 at Henry County, Virginia.2

To my son Ambross Estes a Negro girl named Jude and a boy named Georges.
To my son Abraham Estes one Negro boy named Daniel and one named young Joseph.
To my son William Estes one Negro name Dick and one named Robin.
To my son Richard Estes one Negro named Phillip and one Negro named Peter; my Negro Bristol and a Negro named Hannah if he chuses to accept them on the following terms to witt the said Negroes to be valued and he pay unto each of my surviving children an equal proportion of what they shall be valued.

Rossville - A.B. 'Bud' Eubanks; 75, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2007at a local hospital.
A lifelong resident of Walker County, Mr. Eubanks retired from CombustionEngineering with 20 years of service and later became a horse trader andcar trader. Mr. Eubanks was a member of New Covenant Baptist Church andwas a U. S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War.
His parents, David and Lillie Eubanks preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Patsy Eubanks; daughter andson-in-law, Tami and Gerald Wilson, of Rossville; two sons anddaughters-in-law, David and Tammie Eubanks, of Bryant, Alabama, and Timand Sharon Eubanks , of Harrison; two brothers, John and Jack Eubanks,both of Chattanooga; two sisters, Eva Liner, of Chattanooga, and MissyStarr, of Naples, Fla; six grandchildren, Mat, Josh and Zach Eubanks,Main Wilson, Hadlea and Jamie Eubanks; and several nieces; and nephews.
Funeral services will be a 2 p.m. Tuesday in the South Crest Chapel withthe Rev. Mike Gregg officiating.
Burial will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park with Justin Riddle,Lanham Gregg, Ricky Gregg, Doug Roberts, Time Roberts, Matt Eubanks, JoshEubanks and Mike McKenzie serving as pallbearers.
