     Imogene Welch was born on 16 February 1897 at Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana.^1,2 She was the daughter of Peter F. Welch and Mary Ann Lynch.^2,1 Imogene Welch married Dewitt Horace Stoker circa 1914 at Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana.¹ Imogene Welch died on 13 March 1975 at age 78.¹

     William Ennemond Meuillon Wells was born on 19 August 1809 at Cheneyville, Rapides Parish, Louisiana, The Wells Family of Louisiana and Allied Families by Dr. Stafford.² He married Annie Thomas, daughter of Isaac Thomas Jr. and Jane Bullard, at Alexandria, Rapides Parish, Louisiana, There is no record of the date of this marriage. The place would be Alexandria where both sets of parents owned plantations.³

     Charles F. Werntz was born in 1879.^1,2 He married Algia Renia Wagley, daughter of John Jefferson Wagley Sr. and Algorinia Holt, on 20 June 1925 at Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana.^3,1,4 Charles F. Werntz died in 1964.^1,2 He was buried in 1964 at Harmony Cemetery, Provencal, Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana.^2,1

     (?) Wesley married Ruby Juanita Hargis, daughter of Alonzo Hargis.¹

     (Unknown) West was born circa 1830.¹ He married Nancy Hargis, daughter of John Hargis and Permelia Uhles.¹

     Laura C. West was born circa 1840 at of Conway, Arkansas.¹ She married Henry H. Hargis, son of Phillip Burch Hargis and Marion W. Fincher, on 12 December 1859 at Conway County, Arkansas.¹

     William West was born in 1645 at Isle of Wigh County, Virginia.¹ He married Rebecca Braswell, daughter of Robert Bracewell and Rebecca Unknown, in 1680.¹ William West died in 1707.¹

     J. O. Whaley was born circa 1895.¹ He married Stella Vivian Martin, daughter of John Rowland Martin and Stella Achsah McMillan, on 23 September 1943.^1,2

     Mary W. Whaley was born circa 1818 at Georgia.¹ She married Jesse Hancock Roberts, son of John Arthur Roberts and Nancy Hargis, on 16 April 1871 at Pike County, Alabama.^1,2

     Benjamin Wharton was born in 1760 at Granville County, North Carolina.¹ He was the son of William Wharton and Jane Roberts.¹ Benjamin Wharton died in 1848 at Georgia.¹
          Benjamin Warton appears in the 1790 census in the Pendleton district. He and a Samuel Whorton are listed in the land grant records of South Carolina. I have not searced the census records nor the land grant records myself.
     Benjamin appears to have moved to Jackson County, Georgia about 1801/1802. He sold 200 acres of land in South Carolina in 1797, 200 acres in December 1801, and 150 acres in December of 1802. He is listed in the Jackson County Tax list in 1801 in the Towsend district. In 1810 Benjamin and his sons appear to have owned a large amount of land in Jackson County and the district in which they lived was named Whorton district which was later named J. Hemphill district. He was given land grants of 800 acres in Jackson County in 1817 and another 255 acres in Hall County in 1830. These land grants would seem to indicate that he was a Revolutionary War veteranl.¹

     Dillon Wharton was born on 11 January 1782 at Laurens County, South Carolina.¹ He was the son of Samuel Wharton and Maudaline Sullivan.¹ Dillon Wharton married Mary Nelson on 10 December 1811 at Laurens County, South Carolina.¹ Dillon Wharton died on 28 April 1849 at Waterloo, Laurens County, South Carolina, at age 67.¹

     Elender Wharton was born in 1764 at Georgia.¹ She was the daughter of William Wharton and Jane Roberts.¹
