     Hester P. Webb and her husband William A. Roberts ran a telephoneexchange and store. The story pasted down through family is that Hesterwas the business minded individual. After she pasted away, WilliamRoberts pretty much lost everything or mismanaged the business.Descendants say Hester P. Webb is buried in an unmarked grave, beside herson Luke at Unity Baptist Cemetery, on County Road #82, off County Road#75, off State Highway 68 (between Cedar Bluff and Gaylesville, CherokeeCounty, Alabama). Luke had died in his teens. William A. Robertseventually moved to Walker County, Georgia.

Mrs. Roberts Dies at Local Hospital
Mrs. W. A. Roberts, age 60 of Cedar Bluff, Ala., died Sunday morning at alocal hospital, after an illness of about three weeks.
Mrs. Roberts is survived by her husband, W. A. Roberts; one daughter,Mrs. W.M Hurley, of Rome; and two sons, Milton and Theodore Roberts, ofChattanooga.
The remains were taken Monday afternoon to Cedar Bluff, where the funeralwill be held.
