     Thomas Auborn Smith was born on 5 April 1848 at Pine Log, Cass County, Georgia.1 He married Lucy Virginia Landers, daughter of James Nelson Landers and Sarah 'Sallie' Sieber, in January 1875 at Jacksonville, Calhoun County, Alabama.1 Thomas Auborn Smith married Sarah Elizabeth Landers, daughter of James Nelson Landers and Sarah 'Sallie' Sieber, on 25 September 1888 at Jacksonville, Calhoun County, Alabama.1 Thomas Auborn Smith died on 31 May 1920 at Jacksonville, Calhoun County, Alabama, at age 72.1 He was buried at Landers Cemetery, Jacksonville, Calhoun County, Alabama.1
