     Richard was born in 1630 in Bolton, Yorks Co., England. He was the son of Rev. Richard Denton , II and Helen Windbank. Richard was married to Ruth Tileston Saturday, November 10, 1657. Richard died on Monday, October 28, 1658 in Dorchester, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts, British Colony, at age 28 years.
     Richard lived in Dorchester, MA and also left many descendants in Long Island, NY. His estate inventory, filed 6 Oct. 1659 by Abraham How and John Minotte, totaled 57 Pounds, all left to his widow.
