Elizabeth was born in 1683 in Hempstead, Queens Co., New York, British Colony. She was the daughter of Samuel Denton and Mary Rock Smith. Elizabeth was married to Jonathan Seaman , II 1705 in New York, British Colony.
In the records of the Reformed Church of Tappan, Orange CO, NY (now Rockland) we find the baptism records of some of the children, namely Jaconiah, Jane, Eamie, Jonas, Elizabeth and Jonathan. The older children were evidently born before the family moved to Tappan and not included in the baptismal records. As of 1705, her married name was Seaman.
