     Benjamin was born in 1697 in Horseneck, Greenwich Co., Connecticut, British Colony. He was the son of Richard Denton and Mary Foster Thurston. Benjamin was married to Rachael Wheeler December, 1724. Benjamin was married to Ruth Hopkins 1742. Benjamin died in July, 1780 at age 83 years.

     Benjamin was born in 1773 in Granville Co., North Carolina, British Colony.1 He was the son of Benjamin Denton and Priscilla Rebecca Wiggins. Benjamin was married to Jane Shipman before March 8, 1800. Benjamin died in 1848 in Marshall Co., Mississippi, USA, at age 75 years. His estate was probated on Thursday, November 28, 1850 in Holly Springs, Marshall Co., Mississippi, USA.2
     Benjamin Denton left a will on Saturday, November 11, 1843 in Holly Springs, Marshall Co., Mississippi, USA.3

     Benjamin was born on Sunday, April 9, 1769 in Shenandoah Co., Virginia, British Colony. He was the son of John Denton , Jr. and Ann Margaret Weaver. Benjamin, age 24, was married to Margaret Ann Anderson, age 19, daughter of Robert Anderson and Margaret Neely, Wednesday, July 24, 1793 in Botetourt Co., Virginia, USA. Benjamin died on Tuesday, October 11, 1814 in Botetourt Co., Virginia, USA, at age 45 years, 6 months and 2 days.
     After his grandfather Samuel and uncles Abraham III and Benjamin I along with other family members had settled on Caney Fork Creek in White CO, TN using the bounty land warrents granted for Revolutionary War service, Benjamin II and Peggy Ann Anderson Denton joined the clan. This is verified from land deed records from Boutetourt CO, VA which shows they sold their land in 1804 and then they appear on the White CO, Tn tax rolls in 1805.
