Eliza, age 16, was married to William Preston McClure, age 20 Thursday, March 13, 1862 in Henderson Co., Kentucky, USA.3 Eliza died in 1905 at age 58 years.2 Her body was interred after 1905 in Rawley Cemetery (south of Cairo on Old 41), Cairo, Henderson Co., Kentucky, USA.2

Cottingham on the 1860 Census, on June 1, 1860 in Household No. 284, Cairo, Henderson Co., Kentucky, USA.5 As of Thursday, March 13, 1862, her married name was McClure. Eliza (age 34) was listed as wife living with William Preston McClure on the 1880 Census, on June 1, 1880 in Household No. 50, Cairo, Henderson Co., Kentucky, USA.6 Eliza (age 54) was listed as William Preston McClure's wife on the 1900 Census, on June 1, 1900 in Household No. 924, Corydon, Henderson Co., Kentucky, USA.7
