     Thomas was born in 1730. Thomas was married to Elizabeth Tabitha? Cooper, daughter of Benjamin Cooper and Elizabeth Cannon, 1753. Thomas was married to Frances Brown 1796. Thomas died on Thursday, January 3, 1799 in Granville Co., North Carolina, USA, at age 69 years. Thomas had his will probated February, 1799 in Granville Co., North Carolina, USA.1
     Thomas was a member of Captain John Glover's Company in the Militia under the command of Colonel William Eaton, as taken from the general muster of said regiment on October 8, 1754, as shown on pages 370 to 380 inclusive, of Vol. 22 of the North Carolina State Records.

His second wife was apparently a widow with small children named Gresham. After Thomas Wiggins died, she married another Grisham/Gresham. He was a Lieutenant Colonel, with Patriotic Service, and Civil Service in the Revolutionary War between April, 1775 and December, 1783 in North Carolina, USA.2 He left a will on Thursday, May 11, 1797 in Granville Co., North Carolina, USA; Abstracts of the Wills and states of Granville County, NC 1746-1804 Pg. 224
"Willl Book 4, 1796-1799 pg. 295, 296, 297, 298, 299- May 11, 1797- proved Feb. Court 1799- THOMAS WIGGINS wills to his wife FRANCES the use of plantation whereon I now live, including the 350-acrs tract, and my exrs. to purchase for her a negro girl between age 14 and 20, all stock of cattle, hogs, horses, all plantation tools, all household furniture, all crop, all provisions in house for family; my wife is to have these things for 17 years or until her son JNO. GRESHOM comes to age 21 years, and she is so rear her children and mine until her son JNO. GRESHAM is 21 and then divide to her children, JON. GRESHAM and daughter AGNES GRESHAM, and my son THOMAS WIGGINS and all the rest of her children that she has by me, but if she marry, then to forfit all her part of the estate and my exrs. to divide to the childern above; to my wife's son JNO. GRESHAM, 1/2 the land whereon I live and other half to my son THOMAS WIGGINS and if JNO. GRESHAM die without issue, then all to my son THOMAS WIGGINS, then all to mu son THOMAS WIGGINS, my wife using 1/2 the land for her lifetime; if my wife's son and daughter die without issue, their share of estate to go to my children by my wife and if they die, then to the children of my son FREDRICK WIGGINS; the land I bought of STEPHEN RAGLAND, containing 405 acres, 5 negroes; to MOLLEY MITCHELL, my daughter, all that bought of Maj. MITCHELL, stockof lhorses and cattle, furniture, a negro Lucy and her increase, this to be property of my noughter and not liable to her husband's debts, and my son FREDERICK to see her property isn't taken from her in her lifetime and that at her death it go to her children; to daughter CEALEY DENTON, 190 acres whereon BEN DENTON now lives, a negro woman and all increase except one boy, and my daughter to keep her property and it not in possession of herhusband or to pay his debts and my son FREDERICK to see that BEN DENTON, her husband, not take it from her in lher life and that it go to her children at her death;I reserve the one negro boy to my grandson JOHN DENTON, which he now has in his possession.      Thomas was born after 1796. He was the son of Thomas Wiggins and Frances Brown. Thomas died in 1815.
     Thomas' will dated Feb. 24, 1815, proved May court, 1815: "Thomas Wiggins wills to wife Celia all land and that appertaining thereto, 4 negroes, a mare, all stock of all kinds and furniture and tools that she may raise my children, during her life or widowhood, and at her death or if she marry, all to be divided to my children, namely James, Salley, Frederick, Nancy, Collier, Heland, and Thomas Wiggins. All stock, which is 3 horses, sold and also any money on hand used to pay my debts and that remaining to school mychildren and repair house. Exrs: Lewis Reavis, John Wiggins, Samuel Edwards. Wts: Jno. Wiggins, William Whitfield Reavis." They was listed as a beneficiary in Thomas Wiggins's will February, 1799 in Granville Co., North Carolina, USA.1
