Hosea was born on Saturday, March 17, 1804 in Kentucky, USA.1 He was the son of Robert Smith and Letitia Roelofson. Hosea, age 22, was married to Nancy Floyd, age 21, daughter of John Helm Floyd and Elizabeth Polly Jeffries, Tuesday, July 18, 1826. Hosea was married to Frances C.
