Alice was born on Sunday, March 1, 1863 in Henderson Co., Kentucky, USA.1,2 She was the daughter of Isham Sellers and Lucy Ann Hughes. Alice, age 23, was married to Gilbert Harrison Crook, age 29, son of Samuel Crook and Mary Jane Whitledge, Wednesday, February 16, 1887 in Little Dixie, Henderson Co., Kentucky, USA.3 Alice died on Monday, January 30, 1888 at age 24 years, 10 months and 29 days.1 Her body was interred after January 30, 1888 in Rawley Cemetery (south of Cairo on Old 41), Cairo, Henderson Co., Kentucky, USA.1
Alice (age 7) was listed as a household member living with Isham Sellers on the 1870 Census, on June 15, 1870 in Household No. 222, Cairo, Henderson Co., Kentucky, USA.4 Alice (age 17) was listed as a daughter living with Isham Sellers on the 1880 Census, on June 1, 1880 in Household No. 281, Cairo, Henderson Co., Kentucky, USA.5 As of Wednesday, February 16, 1887, her married name was Crook. As a result of her death, Gilbert Harrison became a widower, on January 30, 1888.
