     Mary was born in 1702 in Woodstock, Shenandoah Co., Virginia, British Colony. She was the daughter of Samuel O'Dell and Patience (?). Mary was married to Capt. Abraham Denton , Jr., son of Dr. Abraham Denton , Sr. and Martha Thorne, 1725 in Orange Co., New York, British Colony. Mary died in 1779 in Shenandoah Co., Virginia, USA, at age 77 years.
     Will book A, page 200, Woodstock Shenandoah CO, VA pgs. 228-229. Administration and inventory of estate and apportionment. Heirs: Elizabeth Smith, Hannah Smith and Daridea Clock (Clark). These were probably Mary's sisters who took care of her in her old age as her children had already moved on by the time her husband died. As of 1725, her married name was Denton.
