Privacy Notice for RAWOLFPACK Genealogy Website

I wanted to include as much information on my family tree as possible so that relatives can learn about their ancestors and hopefully to get in contact with family members I do not know. However, I must balance that with the potential privacy invasion of putting personal and family information on the Internet without the consent of a living relative.

In order to protect the privacy of individuals that are still among the living, my generation, the previous generation, and any subsequent generations have been removed completely. This means roughly anyone born after 1930 is not included. The only reference to these individuals will be as "Living Male/Female" under the children section of the parents webpage. For those people that are still alive, I have included only their first and surname. No mention of age, birth, marriage, or children is given for these individuals.

This method of protection was selected for its simplicity since I do not know the definitive status of all individuals. Furthermore, the name information is publically available in sources such as the 1930 census. Since I plan to place transcripts of some of these sources on my web page, it makes sense to be as consistent as possible with the information provided.

If anyone feels that I have infringed on their privacy either through disagreement in this policy or an error on my part, I respect their wishes and will remove their name from the website immediately. These individuals can contact me at rawolfman@1995.usna.com.

Any relative who wishes to retrieve more information can email me.
