Moses Rardin/Rariden
Information from Mary Jo McQueen  MCQUEEN1@aol.com
The earliest date I have found Moses in the fall of 1790 in court proceedings which also involved his brothers, William and Timothy.  The surname is spelled Reardon in these papers.  In 1791 Moses is in Bourbon County, Kentucky.  Then in 1800 he is living in Harrison County, Kentucky.  In 1810 he is in the Indiana Territory buying land in Indian's "Gore".  By 1820 his land became part of Franklin County.  Records show that Moses and his wife, Eleanor, and later his second wife Mary Carson bought and sold additional land in Southeastern Indiana through the mid 1830s.  Sometime after his move to Indiana, Moses changed the spelling of his surname to Rariden.

Will of Moses Rariden follows at end of children listing.
