Schad, John (brother of Peter Schad). He fought in the Civil War for the state of Wisconsin. His unit was the 9th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry Regiment, Co. B. John is buried in the national cemetery in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Schad, Peter* b.26NOV1838 Mainz, Germany d.20NOV1903 Lindsay, Nebraska. He fought in the Civil War for the state of Wisconsin. His unit was the 9th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry Regiment, Co. B. Peter Schad, Sr enrolled on 14SEP1861 at Sheboygan, Wisconsin for three years. He mustered out on 3DEC1864 at Milwaukee, Wisconsin. During the war, he was wounded on the left side around 2APR1864 near Spoonville, Arkansas. {see photo below}
Watson, George Henry* b.11JUN1842 Worcester, Massachusetts d.16MAY1898 Clarksville, Tennessee. He fought for the state of Massachusetts. His unit was the 15th Massachusetts Infantry Regiment. George died from malaria. He joined the union army on 31JUL1861 for three years as a private. {RUMOR AT THIS TIME-->}He later served as a captain under General Meade.
Vanderstaay(Vanderstay), John* b.4JUN1823 Dusseldorf, Germany(Prussia) d.2JAN1902 Atchison, Kansas. He was living in Missouri at the time of the Civil War and was a Union sympathizer and served in a Missouri Militia.
