Thomas & Mary (Collins) Roberts were the parents of the following children all of which were born in North Carolina:

• Roxannah 1830 - 1903 married (1) Abner Jefferson (2) John B Lewis. She died in Fannan TX.
• Stephen 1832 - 14 Jul 1879, m. Sarah F Fuller.
• David Collins b. 23 July 1833 m. (1) Malinda Finley in 1857 (2) Permelia Susan Waddle Deaver on 30 Dec 1874. David died 3 June 1906 and is buried at Gross Cemetery in Randolph County Arkansas, along with both of his wives.
• Mary E b. 1839, m. John Wickett.
• Sarah Margaret b. 1841 m. Dactor Williams.
• John T b. 1842 m. Lucinda Finley.
• William Martin b. 1847 m. Elizabeth Fuller, 5 Sept 1867 d. 28 March 1919 in Ga.
• Amanda E b. 30 Apr 1848, m. William T. Turner, d. 25 Jan 1900.

Mary Collins Roberts died in Cherokee Co Georgia in 1854 after which Thomas married 2nd wife Rebecca Wickett. Thomas & Rebecca had the following children all of which were born in Cherokee Co Georgia with the exception of Griffith.

• Lutitia, b. 1867, m. James Tippett 6 March 1887 in Randolph Co AR.
• James F. b. 1870.
• Joseph, b. 1871.
• Sallie 1877.
• Griffith R, b. 1879 in Randolph Co AR, d. ca 1903 in Randolph Co AR.

Thomas Roberts died in Randolph County Arkansas in 1879, and while there is no tombstone, it is believed with reasonable certainty that he is buried at Gross Cemetery. He lived and died in the area of the cemetery so he, no doubt, was buried there.

David Collins Roberts & 1st wife Malinda (Findley) Roberts were the parents of the following children:

• Mary M, b. 1858, m. Ezkiel Hurn 23 Jan. 1876, died 15 March 1945, Benton County Arkansas.
• Sarah Regina, b. 1860, m. (1) William McQuay, 25 June 1881, Ripley County Missouri (2) Samuel C Boyd. She died 20 December 1935 in Craighead County, Ar.
• Martha A, b. 31 Aug 1864, d. 26 Nov 1883, buried at Gross Cemetery.
• Leander A, b. 2 Sept 1866, d. 22 Sept 1884, buried at Gross Cemetery.
• Stephen Columbus, b. 18 Feb. 1872 in Ky, m. Emily Jane Ulmer 26 July 1896, d. 19 May 1954. Both Stephan & Emily J are buried at Gross Cemetery.
• John Waddy, b. 19 Feb 1873, m. Emily Jane Bennett 23 Jan. 1896, d. 26 June 1927 in Beggs, OK.

The following are the children of David Collins Roberts and 2nd wife Permelia Susan (Waddle) Deaver Roberts:

• Rachel J, b. 21 Feb 1876, m. William Thomas Ulmer 20 Feb 1896, d. 2 Feb 1946. Both Rachel J and William T are buried at Gross Cemetery.
• Thomas Henry, b. 25 Aug. 1879, m. (1) Mary May Spikes 7 Dec 1904, d. 14 Feb 1943. Both Thomas & Mary are buried at Spikes Cemetery. Thomas married (2) Ethel Daniel on 30 December 1914 (3) Mrs Ida Morgan on 17 March 1921 and (4) Mrs Maude Jane (Jones) Manning Ford on 14 March 1923.
• Jacob H, b. May 1880, m. Ida C Jarrett 21 Dec 1902, d. 19 March 1914. Both Jacob and Ida are buried at Jarrett Cemetery.
• Richard L, b. 4 Oct 1885, m. Daisy Daniel 4 May 1905, d. 18 Jul 1912. Both Richard and Daisy are buried at Overby Cemetery.
• Lucy Ada, b. 27 Jan 1888, m. Edwin Ulmer 2 Jan. 1910, d. 11 Nov 1956. Both Lucy and Edwin are buried at Gross Cemetery.

The following are step children of David C Roberts (children of 2nd wife Permelia (Waddle) Deaver by her 1st husband Isaac Deaver):

• Mary L Deaver, b. 14 July 1867, d. 15 December 1945, married (1) Gabriel Stubblefield on 6 October 1887 (2) John T Hill on 10 March 1915
• Sarah Matilda Deaver, b. 1870, d. 1953, married James M "Dub" Foster on 1 February 1891
• William Finis Deaver, b. 5 June 1872, married Maggie V Luter on 13 October 1895, d. 17 August 1937. Both William and Maggie are buried in Johnston Cemetery.
