About this website: During my research into my own Randles family history, I have noted every single Randles family that I have come across, as experience has shown that sometimes they turn out later to be related to my branch. Of course, with each family there are lots of relations by marriage, and they are all included here.

My own interests lie almost exclusively in the County of Lancashire, England, particularly in the cities of Liverpool and Manchester. As well as the Randles side, I also have data from my Preston, Hughes and Wilkinson lines.
My earliest known Randles ancestor is Samuel, a Liverpool ropemaker,
born 1815, but not in Liverpool. I am still searching for his baptism and that of his
elder brother John.
