Henry Hughey was born 1807 in North  Carolina
he married in 1832 in Lincoln Co. Tenn to Ann Wilson,dau of James and Margaret Mc Elroy Wilson.
 They Joined her widowed Father,James, in Carroll. co Ark in 1837 and settled in the Crooked Creek Township. where he purchased 6 acres of land in 1839.

Their Children were;
{1] William Brice born oct 29 1833 in Lincoln Co. married Amanda Jane De SHields
[2] Alfred Wilson[Dick] born  aug 2 1834 in Lincoln Co married Susan Call
[3] Mary Louisa born april 2 1836 in Lincoln Co married Richard Carslisle Wilson[her cousin]
[4] James Sanforp P. born 1839 in Carroll co Ark married Elizabeth Lipps
[5] Albert A.[Tobe] born april 26 1841 married #1 Mary L. Holmes
[6] Robert Henry born 1843[Civil War Casuality]
