Allen Raines was born 1824 in Walker co ala to James and Milla Barton Raines
he Maried Lucinda Robbins 1845 in Walker Co Ala
They had 5 children

[4] Caldonia born 1852
[5] Wiliam born 1853
Allen enlisted in the Civil War Sept 20 1863 with Capt. Musgrave. he transferred from CO> L to CO> F in Dalton Ga. Jan 6 1864 and enlisted for the duration of the war.
He became ill with ephritis[imflammation of the Kidneys and died April 28 1864 at the Okmulgee Hospital in Macon Ga, Bibbs co. He is buried in the Rose Hill Cem there with a white Cross marking his grave.
the article on his death was in the Macon Telegraph on April 26 1866.
Have not found Lucinda or any of the children after his Death.
