The Watsons's

Robert (b. ~1797) and Ann (b. ~1796) Watson were from Altringham, but moved to Flintshire (St Asaph, ~1819-1823) and Manchester (~1825-29), before settling in Liverpool (~1841- onwards) where they lived at Mann Street (1841) and Upper Mann Street (1851-61). Robert worked as a Timber Measurer/Merchant and Book Keeper (1850) and they had 6 Children: Walter (c. 7.12.1819, St Asaph), Elizabeth (b. 1822, St Asaph), Robert (c. 24.12.1823, St Asaph), Ann (b.~1825, Manchester), Robert (b.~1829, Manchester) and Sarah (b. ~1835).

Their youngest son, Robert, married Sarah Billington on 19th May 1850 at St John The Baptiste Church, Toxteth Park. He worked as a Timber Measurer (1850), Labourer (1851-2), Cotton Porter (1861) and Hammer Shaft Maker (1871). Robert and Sarah had 6 Children: Sarah Ann (b. 20.03.1851, Sun Street), Elizabeth (b.08.08.1852, Olive Street), Robert (b.~1855), Mary (b.~1860), Walter (b.~1867) and Henry (b. 1871).

They lived at Sun Street (1851), Olive Street (1852) and Vaughan Street (1861-71). In 1861, their eldest daughter, Sarah, was living with her Grandparents and by 1871, Sarah and her sister Elizabeth were living with their Uncle, Walter Watson, on Upper Mann Street. The following year, Sarah Ann married Joseph Pugh on 11th November 1872 at St. Michael's Church, Toxteth Park. Her Sister, Elizabeth, married Allen Radcliffe on 15th December 1873 at the same church.
