Welcome to the Youngwood Resource Page! Contained within this site are records concerning the little town of Youngwood, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. Youngwood used to be an incredibly busy railroad town; in fact, one of the busiest, during its heyday. Those days are past now, but their footprints remain. Inside this site are pictures, family histories, records, etc. pertaining to Youngwood and the surrounding area. The town's rail yard was part of the Southwest Branch of the Pennsylvania Railroad, so most of the railroading material pertains to it, but we have pictures and other resources of other branches. All sources on this page are in the holdings of the Youngwood Historical and Railroad Museum. (insert link)
